As in the previous year, the Elton John AIDS Foundation was a partner of the charity event. The organization was also presented by David Furnish, Elton John's husband.

There were 60 models on parade for the fashion show on the first evening. Prince Albert of Monaco opened the fashion show as he does every year and also present were great star designers:


Liz Hurley (beach wear), Tamara Ecclestone (mens wear), Jimmy Choo (shoes), Tara Moor (Jewels) and Isabell Kristensen (Haut Couture). The Inmann team was represented by nine of its top employees this time round. All nine stylists were in continuous use for more than 10 hours, in charge of styling over 60 models as well as the Formula 1 pilots, their wives and sometimes their children. Many F1 daughters venture on the


catwalk at the tender age of 5 / 6 years old with brilliantly mastered appearances. They emulated many women drivers and pilots, who for a good cause also put the spotlight of this event on the catwalk.
